Automotive

Mr. Levitt has been an automotive enthusiast since the time he could walk and talk. His passion for cars has brought home ownership of every brand you can imagine over the past 20+ years: Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Mercedes, Jeep, Volvo, Porsche, BMW, and Ferrari. Mr. Levitt is a licensed wholesale dealer in the state of California. Mr. Levitt represents both buyers and sellers of automobiles and parts.

As a licensed dealer, Mr. Levitt is extremely knowledgeable with California regulations of the wholesale and retail automotive industry. In addition, Mr. Levitt can help draft contracts for dealers, as well as private parties, and act as an intermediary and clearing house for private transactions (acting as a neutral 3rd party, rather than as an attorney for either side).

Mr. Levitt has also pursued many Lemon Law cases on behalf of his clients with a 100% success rate. Some examples of his victories are as follows:

Case #1: Client’s motor home catches fire from the engine compartment. Motor home is roughly 1.5 years old. Mr. Levitt is able to get the manufacturer to issue a 100% credit to his client towards the purchase of a brand new motor home from the same manufacture. This credit was close to $400,000.00

Case #2: Client’s brand new German SUV is plagued with problems. Mr. Levitt wins the case and client receives back, 100% of his down payment and monthly payments to date made on the vehicle plus the cost of window tinting, and upgraded stereo installed into the vehicle.

Case #3: Client’s English SUV is plagued with problems over the first year of ownership. Mr. Levitt gets the manufacture to purchase the vehicle back at over 85% of the original purchase price.

Case #4: Client’s German SUV is plagued with mechanical and electrical issues over the first several months of ownership. Although the minimal requirements are not met under the CA Code for buyback, and eventually the vehicle is properly fixed while the case is pending, Mr. Levitt persuades the Manufacturer to issue a check to client for $7,500.00 for client’s time and inconvenience and for attorney’s fees.

Case #5: Client’s English luxury sedan, which the client purchased used, from a private party, (with a “prior rental-car use” branded title) is plagued with mechanical and electrical issues over the first several months of ownership. Although the minimal requirements are far from being met under the CA Code for buyback, and eventually the vehicle is properly fixed while the case is pending, Mr. Levitt persuades the Manufacturer to buy-back the car at 100% of the purchase price, sales tax and DMV fees, and attorney’s fees.

Past case results are no indication of future outcome. Each case is unique and has its own variables and elements which will weigh heavily on the ultimate result.
